Healing minds and bodies through integrated mental health support and nutrition education
In Kenya, mental health challenges affect 1 in 4 people, yet only 1 in 10 receive care. At the same time, malnutrition and food insecurity worsen mental well‑being. POAK's Mental Health & Nutrition Wellness program addresses this link by combining professional mental health support with practical nutrition education. We believe that a healthy mind and a well‑nourished body are foundations for escaping poverty.
Our holistic approach provides counseling, peer support groups, and nutrition workshops – all free of charge – to vulnerable communities across Kenya.

"The support group gave me hope when I felt nothing. Then the nutrition workshop taught me how to cook healthy meals on a small budget. My children are healthier, and so is my mind."
